Farzan Taj

Yup, you've found me!

I am a PhD student at the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, supervised by Dr. Lincoln Stein. I’m also a graduate researcher at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. I am working on modelling single-cell perturbation screens, such as Perturb-Seq, in-silico!

Prior to this, I did my MSc in the same lab, working on Drug Response Prediction. My work resulted in an open-access paper on Multimodal Drug Response Prediction

During my undergraduate studies at UofT, I specialized in computational biology and bioinformatics, while getting a major in molecular genetics and a minor in computer sciences.
